I am a proud owner of a 1998 Honda Accord 4cyl. The CEL has been on (solid) for 2 days now.?

Auto Zone gave me a code P1259. Something to do with Vtec oil pressure switch and solenoid valve. Took it to Car RX and paid $90 for diagnostic and they told me I need to replace the timing belt. Are you serious??? I just had that and the water pump replaced less than six months ago. Please help!!! This just can't be right. I was about 2-3 qts low on oil but went an got an oil change today. Could this be the timing belt? If it truly is the oil pressure switch and solenoid, how much does that typically cost to fix? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
