Could this be a tumour on my wrist?

i have this hard bump on the side of my wrist, i really think its a bone where I hurt my wrist playing football a few years go, i had to have it in a cast etc. It feels hard like a bone but Im worried incase it might be something else. It doesnt really hurt or anything and im sure ive had it for a long time. My girlfriend says its the bone but if it is one wrist is bonier than the other. I dont want to make a fool of myself in front of the doctor because im 99 percent sure its the bone. Does a tumour feel like a bone? I have no other symptoms btw. Regards
